On December 6, the Center joined other public interest and environmental organizations in joint comments opposing the Virginia Department of the Environment’s draft general permit for construction stormwater discharges. The organizations oppose approval of the permit in its present form because it will not promote or ensure that industry meets Virginia’s water quality standards.
