Over the last three decades, the CRA has been increasingly used to undermine and prevent the implementation of important regulations. As we approach the end of a presidential term, these dangers are taking on even greater significance because of the law’s complex “lookback” period.
The webinar will provide an overview of the CRA, with a particular focus on how the lookback period works. Panelists will also discuss new and emerging controversies surrounding the CRA, current research on how it is being abused, and reform options to blunt the law’s threats. There will have time for questions and answers with the expert panel at the end of the discussion.
