Our court and regulatory systems were designed to protect against harms that individuals and the market cannot — or will not — protect against. But corporations have short-circuited this design and evaded their regulatory and civil justice responsibilities, endangering people and the planet.
To undo the damage, we are working to improve citizens’ access to the courts so they can more easily hold to account companies that violate law and policy, and repel attacks from activist federal judges seeking to gut our regulatory system.
