On July 24, Senior Policy Analyst Bryan Dunning submitted written comments to the Maryland Public Service Commission on the future of methane gas infrastructure and use in the state. In the comments, he raised issues including the high potential for stranded assets as the state transitions away from fossil fuels and equity concerns related to the increasing costs of gas infrastructure to those Marylanders who are least able to quickly transition to clean, renewable energy.
