On September 15, the Center joined the Upgrade Maryland coalition and other public interest organizations in joint comments to the Maryland House of Delegates Environment and Transportation Committee. The comments cover implementation of the state’s Utility RELIEF Act and Next Generation Energy Act and express concerns that electric and/or gas utilities are evading the law or laws’ intent and that the Maryland Public Service Commission is not doing enough to enforce and implement the laws.
