On September 22, the Center joined other public interest organizations and individuals in a joint letter to the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Commission on Environmental Justice and Sustainable Communities, and the Office of Governor Wes Moore. The letter commends the agencies for the state’s progress on environmental justice and makes recommendations for further progress on and implementation of the state’s environmental justice goals.
